ABOUT IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CATHOLIC SCHOOLS

Leadership
Principal's Welcome

I am honored to return as principal at Immaculate Conception Catholic Schools. Not only am I a veteran 11-year IC kindergarten teacher, but I’m also a proud IC Bengal High School alumna.  After graduating from ICHS, I went on to earn my teaching degree from Wayne State University.  Currently, I’m back at Wayne in the middle of a post-bachelor degree in education.

Our position as IC teachers gives us the unique opportunity to not only educate students, but to lift each other up to be the people God plans for us to be.

Our faculty and staff look forward to a stellar school year.  May God fill our hearts with faith, help us grow, and guide our learning.  As a team of educators and families working together, we can help our children grow in faith and love.

God’s blessings be upon you,

Our Mission

Immaculate Conception Catholic Schools prepares students to think and act critically, creatively, and collaboratively; to work to the best of their ability; and to develop self-awareness, responsibility and curiosity. Ideal class sizes and dedicated faculty help IC students thrive, not just succeed.

Immaculate Conception Schools
Our History
Blessed Mother Mary

In 1936, the Ukrainian immigrant community established a school in Hamtramck, MI to provide a quality education based in the gospels for its children.  Needing more room and modern facilities to serve its growing student body, Immaculate Conception Catholic Schools relocated to its current Warren, MI campus in the 1980s.

Since then, IC has expanded its facilities to include a regulation, junior college-sized gymnasium, computer lab, STEM lab, and Preschool.  We welcome students from throughout the three counties of Metro Detroit and from around the world.  Our families come from a variety of backgrounds and parishes to form the IC family.

Together, with our sponsoring parishes, IC is pledged to help our students walk in faith, grow in love, and lead with compassion.
