WHAT IS THE
DETROIT DEANERY?

The Detroit Deanery is a grouping of Ukrainian parishes in the Metro Detroit area.

The main task is to provide support to the faithful and priests within the deanery.

Deaneries are ultimately established to promote open communication and collaboration between parishes and priests.  Deaneries not only open more effective channels of communication between parishes and the pastoral center, but foster a spirit of collaboration that is essential to the Church’s mission.

The churches listed here are an integral part of the Ukrainian community in Metro Detroit and dedicated supporters and advocates of Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Schools.

“We need to give a soul to the global world through an intellectual and moral formation that can support the good things that globalization brings and correct the harmful ones."
